We're here because God really cares!
Effective prayer requires a healthy relationship with God the Father. Healthy relationships requires a willingness to work hard at doing those things that are essential to relationship building. Commitment, persistence, sacrifice and surrendering our desires to meet the needs of others, are all components of relationship building. We grow in our relationship with God the Father, "as we are led by His spirit" (Romans 8:14; II Timothy 1:7) into spending quality time with Him. Daily, as we pray and encourage each other in Christ, our minds, hearts, souls and spirits are revived and strengthened. As the Proverb says, "Iron sharpens iron"(Proverbs 27:17).
The Highway To Heaven is a two way communications street that we can daily travel through believing prayer! We talk to God and He talks to us, if we have the faith to listen, believe in faith, trust and obey. The scripture is clear, from Genesis to Revelation, that God moves through the believing faith and the fervent prayers of His people (Exodus 2:24-25; II Chronicles 7:14; Mark 11:20-26; James 5:13-18). There is no doubt at all about how God moves through united, believing prayers that are according to His will (Luke 22:39-46; John 17). Through individual and community prayers, God's Spirit creates an intricate web of believing faith that brings life changing results into the lives of people everyday (John 17). Faith says, "wake up and look up" (Psalm 121; John 12:30-32; Ephesians 5:8-21), things will ultimately get better, and be better, if you know Jesus as both Savior and Lord. Ephesians 5:20 says, "always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Have faith in God and turn to Him in your time of need! In Christ, there's is something good coming your way. Don't lose your praise in the midst of life's storms. Sometimes as you struggle in your prayer life, ask as the disciples of Christ did, "Lord, teach us how to pray"(Luke 11:1-13). He will help you. The Lord's Prayer is the model that He gave to help us as we strive to grow in our prayer lives each day.
God listens and speaks to our hearts when we pray. Trust and obey..... and Be Blessed!
